VeggieWorld 2012

The second VeggieWorld fair trade this year was a resounding success again. Similar to last year, crowds of people surrounded the Vegusto booth and were impressed by our vegan products.
The highlight was again the No-Moo fondue and No-Moo Melty toasted sandwiches. Once again we were quickly sold out and enthusiastic about all the positive feedback. A big THANK YOU goes out to all the hardworking volunteers who made the VeggieWorld 2012 such a successful and memorable event!

Wednesday the 21.12.2011 is the last shipping date of Vegusto before the Christmas holidays. Therefore order quickly, so the Vegusto stock for you and your animal friends is not running out over the Christmas holidays. After the festive brake orders will be taken again on the 03.01.2012.

We welcome the delicious autumn newcomer: The new vegan Maxi-Passione from Vegusto has a rich tomato flavour blended with mild chilli tang.
Unlike the other Vegusto Luncheon Rolls this newest member of the Vegusto family is packed in a slightly smaller 300 g sausages.

Few days ago we received the first cookbook by the chef Jean-Christian Jury, the renowned chef from La Mano Verde vegan restaurants in Berlin. Given the abundant creative yet simple recipes we could not resist to include the book in our online shop as soon as possible. Due to importing it directly, it is slightly cheaper in our shop as in a bookstore. Sample pages from the book you find here.

Same as every year Vegusto will close for a 2 week company holiday. The last regular mail order before the production, mail orders and outlet shop will close will be on Wednesday 20 July 2011. Therefore please ensure your supply of Vegusto is sufficient, especially for your 4-legged friends.

A 100% vegan holiday weekend for Vegusto connoisseurs. Nature and wellness, delicious vegan meals and lovely company. One just has to take part!

In the beginning of the year we had to replace our water filter of our company building. This opportunity we used to install a water purification system (Weber/ISIS) which swirls water according to Viktor Schaubergers principals.
We can taste the difference with every sip of water and we are happy that all of our products gained more vitality.

New at Vegusto is the huge range of purely plant-based chews for dogs. While these perfect chewing snacks provide maximum enjoyment, they also support dental health, are easily digestible and give long-lasting chewing fun. The special shapes and consistency of the doggy chews strengthen the muscles of the chaw and therefore have a positive effect strengthening the teeth and gums.

At the end of November, after nearly 2 month in operation, friends and customers gathered in Arona (NO) for the official opening of Vegusto Italy. Pictures of this wonderful ceremony are shown in this slide show.
The music, by the way, is from the new Vegusto Vegi-Song CD. The entire revenue of the CD will go to non-profit vegetarian and animal welfare organisations.

It eventually happened: Vegusto has a purely plant-based, vegetarian fondue. Off cause it is vegan, like all our products.

From the time we launched our company we at Vegusto always used almond butter from the traditional Swiss Nuxo brand. But since they are now producing outside of Switzerland we were forced to look for an alternative. We are glad to have found the innovative producer from Emmental who produces almond butter for Vegustowith high class manual workmanship.

You surely watched our two previous cocking demonstrations. Now we put the third recipe video into the internet. Pea-Quiche with Affumato cold cuts. Hot or cold and thus also on the go, this recipe is ideal as a summer delicacy.

The new No-Moo is a world sensation! Without chemical melting salts and gluten free the new No-Moo Melty melts every connoisseurs heart. The No-Moo Melty looks much like melted mozzarella on Pizza. Its aroma is pleasantly mild and thus goes well with many different dishes. The No-Moo Melty can be enjoyed cold or warm. Once melted it gives a pleasing, juicy and creamy mouth feel. This melting plant-based cheese goes well with for example Hawaiian toast or as gratin on top of vegetarian stews.

No-Moo Melty is naturally free of gluten, cholesterol, lactose, casein and free from all animal based ingredients. The purely plant-based No-Moo range from Vegusto contains no artificial colourings or preservatives and are not tested on animals. You can deep-freeze the No-Moo products as well.

Natural instant potato mash without additives!
Some of you who go shopping in Migros or Coop, have probably realised disappointingly that the instant potato mash offered there contains milk powder and antioxidants. The Vegusto instant potato mash contains only potato. Without additives!

Vegusto pepper Schnitzel is really hot! Just what you need on some days! If you steam heat it just a little bit the schnitzel becomes enticingly tender. The pepper Vegi-Schnitzel not only has a typical peppery taste but also a fresh appetising appearance.

The latest at vegusto is the 2nd Vegi-Schnitzel!
The mild-aromatic Vegi-Schnitzel, paprika is tender in bite and is delicious just fried or also breaded. If sprinkled with Vegusto No-Moo cheese when still warm the vegetarian Schnitzel is especially delectable.

Each single Schnitzel is elaborately kneaded by hand. By doing so the Vegi-Schnitzel becomes superbly thin and individually formed.
