Vegusto offers Swiss vegan sausages, which are very similar to traditional sausages and others are produced as one of the kind, created with flair. Whether mild, spicy or smoked: Vegusto has the very thing for everyone!
Enjoyed cold, fried or heated, the Vegusto vegan sausages develop their unique taste depending on the preparation. For heating the sausages in water, please simmer the sausage in its casing for about 10 minutes and remove the casing before eating. For frying, remove the sausage casing and fry the sausage with sufficient vegetable oil on all sides for about 1-2 minutes.
All Vegusto products are seasoned ready to serve. The sausages are pleasantly firm and fibrous in bite, with a palatable juiciness. The plant-based sausages can be enjoyed on their own or can be added to any dish (for example stews, Roesti, pasta, rice dishes or in sauces etc. to enhance the flavour).
In addition the sausages are well suited for BBQ?s, as they won?t roll off the grill due to their curved shape. For grilling (without casing), brush the sausage generously with oil. Either fry the sausage on the grill directly or wrap them in aluminium foil and place them on the hot coals. Just heat up the sausage until it is warm, about 2 minutes. Make sure that the sausage doesn?t get too hot, to avoid them of drying out. The sausages are ideal for a picnic or BBQ while on a hike.
